Information Technology Services will perform a couple of major projects over the break that will disrupt access to some resources. These outages are planned for Friday and Saturday, December 27 & 28.
Affected Services:
All Banner Services will be down the entire day on Friday, December 27th. This work should be completed on Friday but may extend over onto Saturday
Network connectivity, all systems, and all system logins
This work is a continuation of the work that began over the Thanksgiving Holiday. During Friday and Saturday, all external facing servers and services will be moved to a new address space. This will disrupt access for logins to all services during this work.
We understand these projects will disrupt both access and services and we will minimize the impact as much as possible. However, it is not possible to perform this work without some inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this important work.
Access to Google Workspaces from off-campus will not be affected during this work and will be the best way to contact the ITS Service Desk should you need assistance. Please send an email directly to servicedesk@jcu.edu for service.
